It provides opportunities for women to meet in a social setting to discuss faith issues and to take part in activities about making faith a day-to-day reality in our hectic lives.

Mothers' Union is an international Christian membership charity that aims to support families locally and around the world through practical help, prayer and campaigning. The charity began in 1876 when Mary Sumner recognised the need for giving support to family life in a practical way and has developed into the worldwide organisation it is today.

The Men’s Society meets regularly during the winter months, usually on the last Tuesday of the month. Venues vary from the Church Meeting room, local businesses, museums and local pubs (where we usually end up anyway!). Some meetings are in the evening and others during the day. Do come and join us.

About Us

A Parish Church in the Diocese of Liverpool, Deanery of Warrington, ministering to a parish of 9500 people. The church is situated just three miles from Warrington town centre. The building was constructed of local brick and sandstone in 1838. A Chancel and Vestry were added in 1883. In 1992 a new porch was constructed in sympathy with the rest of the building and at the same time a Meeting Room with Gallery above was formed at the west end. A new electronic organ was purchased and installed after completion of the porch extension. We have recently installed an efficient sound system, and lighting has been improved. There is a toilet facility within the porch area, capable of accommodating disabled persons.

Active Church

Active Church is an all age worship and activity service which takes place on the second Sunday of every month, commencing at 10:30am. Parents and children take part in interesting yet simple activities which are followed by a relaxed and friendly act of worship. Come along and enjoy the fellowship.  You will be made very welcome.

Tea and Coffee are available after the service, and if you wish to stay, the morning is completed by a short, yet uplifting, Holy Communion service, to which all are more than welcome.
