Social

LET'S HAVE SOME FUN !

Many fundraising events have taken place over the last ten years or so, thanks to the hard work and dedication of Pat Lord and her merry band of volunteers on the Social Committee.

It is important that we continue to raise funds to help pay the bills! There are already things in place appealing to people of all ages – from Quizzes to Harvest Supper, from Dances to Beetle Drives.

If you can come up with an idea for something new, please contact Pat Lord, 01925 812827

Events are widely publicised on the Church notice board, in Grapevine, on Facebook and on the website.

About Us

A Parish Church in the Diocese of Liverpool, Deanery of Warrington, ministering to a parish of 9500 people. The church is situated just three miles from Warrington town centre. The building was constructed of local brick and sandstone in 1838. A Chancel and Vestry were added in 1883. In 1992 a new porch was constructed in sympathy with the rest of the building and at the same time a Meeting Room with Gallery above was formed at the west end. A new electronic organ was purchased and installed after completion of the porch extension. We have recently installed an efficient sound system, and lighting has been improved. There is a toilet facility within the porch area, capable of accommodating disabled persons.

Active Church

Active Church is an all age worship and activity service which takes place on the second Sunday of every month, commencing at 10:30am. Parents and children take part in interesting yet simple activities which are followed by a relaxed and friendly act of worship. Come along and enjoy the fellowship.  You will be made very welcome.

Tea and Coffee are available after the service, and if you wish to stay, the morning is completed by a short, yet uplifting, Holy Communion service, to which all are more than welcome.
